ABOUT MYSELF : My name is Lorily and I have hopes to become a future educator. Right now I am a part of a program through my school called CAPS, (Center for Advanced Professional Studies). Through CAPS I have the amazing opportunity to venture into classrooms and observe first hand what it is like to be a teacher. After high school, I plan to go to college out of state to major in English and education. My dream is to teach literature because I am very passionate about it and everything within it. I have wanted to be an educator since I began high school. A classroom has not always been a place of comfort for myself, and learning has been difficult for me in certain social settings, such as school. I have dreams to become a teacher that children love to learn from. I want to make younger generations fall in love with not only English, but the expansion of education overall.
